K Ci & Jojo

R&B Group Whether belting ballads as members of Jodeci or soulfully dueting as their own entity, brothers Cedric "K-Ci" Hailey and Joel "JoJo" Hailey are known for sweaty, down-home vocals. In the waning days of Jodeci, the two transformed into an R&B duo, releasing their LP Love Always in 1997 and continuing the hit parade with the runaway single “All My Life.” They released three more LPs—1999’s It’s Real, 2000’s X and 2002’s Emotional—before problems with alcohol addiction and their bad boy antics eventually halted their music careers. But K-Ci & JoJo eventually resurfaced thanks to their reality series K-Ci and JoJo Come Clean followed them on their road to sobriety and, of course, a new record deal.
