Kid Daytona

Rapper If you didn’t know that The Kid Daytona is representing the South Bronx—indeed, all of New York hip hop—then consider his latest project, The Interlude (LRG Records), confirmation. Blending the past with the future, Daytona (who counts Busta Rhymes as a mentor) took break-beats and interludes from various hip hop classics, and made new records that keep the NYC sound alive. The young MC has collaborated with guest rappers like Styles P and N.O.R. E., and renowned producer 9th Wonder, and dropped three other mixtapes: A Tribe Called Fresh, Datonya 500, and Come Fly With Me.
