Larenz Tate

Starting his acting career at a young age, it wasn't until his big screen debut in 1993's Menace II Society that the world got familiar with Larenz Tate. Since then, the Chicago-born, California-raised actor has showcased his talent in over a dozen major films, including titles like Ray, Love Jones, Dead Presidents and Waist Deep. The famed actor has also played in a number of TV series, from '80s drama 21 Jump Street to '90s sitcom Family Matters, and as Bart "Black Shawn" Johnston in FX Network's Rescue Me.
