Machine Gun Kelly

Richard Baker, aka Machine Gun Kelly, is a Cleveland-based rapper, named for the prohibition era gangster. A standout white rapper, MGK gained recognition as a two-time winner of the famous Amateur Night at the Apollo competition in 2009. His popular mixtapes 100 Words and Running and Lace Up further showcased his multisyllabic raps. His songs and high-energy live shows earned him a national audience and the attention of record label executives. In 2011, he signed to P. Diddy’s Bad Boy Records and Interscope.
