Cincinnati-born Mateo's first major stride in the music industry came in 2008 when he snagged a deal with MySpace Records. After releasing a three-part mixtape series and live EP, he moved to Krucial Noise, the label helmed by Alicia Keys' longtime music partner Kerry "Krucial" Brothers. There the singer-songwriter debuted his fourth mixtape, Love & Stadiums, which produced the Billboard-charted single "Say It's So," featuring Alicia Keys. Now he's signed to Interscope and keeping fans fed with fresh new tracks such as "How Good Is Your Love."
