Michael Ealy may be known for his striking good looks, but this Silver Springs, Maryland native first perfected his acting game in several off-Broadway theater productions. His breakout role was in the 2002 comedy film Barbershop, and in the last decade he has shown incredible range in unforgettable performances on both the small and big screen. Ealy was just as charmingly mesmerizing as “Tea Cake” in the Oprah Winfrey TV movie production of Their Eyes Were Watching God opposite Halle Berry, as he was tortured and hauntingly painridden as “Beau Willie” in Tyler Perry’s For Colored Girls opposite Kimberly Elise. Ealy has also consistently shined in critically acclaimed television dramas including Sleeper Cell, Californication and The Good Wife.
