Miri Ben-Ari

Originally from Israel, Miri Ben-Ari is a violinist who strings together hip hop, R&B and jazz. Classically trained, the award-winning musician has collaborated with the likes of Jay-Z, John Legend and Alicia Keys. She appears in a Jimmy Hendrix PSA for BET and received the 2005 BET Awards nomination for Best Female Hip Hop. Her single "Symphony of Brotherhood,” which features Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech, is the first instrumental single to appear on the Billboards R&B/Hip Hop charts.
