Comedienne/Actor/Talk Show Host Since her beginnings as a stand-up comic and star of the UPN sitcom The Parkers, Mo'Nique's come a long way, baby. Her larger-than-life personality helped her land her own late-night talk show, The Mo'Nique Show on BET. Though she's starred in her share of comedies (Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins, among others), Mo'Nique's dramatic turn in Precious: Based on the Novel "Push" by Sapphire was no laughing matter: her performance garnered numerous awards including an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.
