Consisting of Big Jim (musical director), Debra Killings (bassist), John "Lil John" Roberts (drummer), Doc Powell (guitarist), and Daniel Moore (keyboardist), the Penthouse Playaz are The Mo'Nique Show's first-class in-house band. The Playaz make sure the music and mood are right every night the show tapes in The Mo'Nique Show's Atlanta studio, better known as "The Penthouse." Each member of the quintet is a music industry veteran who displays true musicianship and can be seen capturing the real essence of R&B, soul, gospel, rock, hip-hop and jazz--all in the course of a fun-filled 60-minute broadcast.
