Released in late 2006, Huey’s debut single “Pop, Lock and Drop It” became one of the biggest hits of that year. The song introduced the eponymous dance that had girls from Atlanta to Japan dropping down to the ground (or going insane). Its undeniable popularity garnered a Best Hip Hop Dance nomination at the 2007 BET Hip Hop Awards.
