Rudy Currence

Singer/Songwriter Rock Hill, SC, preacher’s son Rudy Currence, is a study in contrasts: refreshingly familiar, humbly confident, classic yet innovative. His song “Weave Ponytail” proves he’s an immensely talented crooner who can make you laugh too. Currence plays piano, keyboards, trumpet and guitar, and he’s garnered writer credits Mya and Ray J.  A winner of several ASCAP awards, his work has been featured in major motion pictures like The Bourne Identity and Minority Report. Having released two albums independently—More than You’ll Ever Know in 2003 and Here With You in 2006—Currence is currently signed to Ludacris’s DTP Records.
