Russell Wilson

As a star quarterback at both North Carolina State University and the University of Wisconsin, Russell Wilson earned enough stripes to land a spot on the Seattle Seahawks' roster during the 2012 NFL Draft. Following the 2012 season, he was voted the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year for guiding the Seahawks to the divisional round of the playoffs. The promising newcomer scored even more bragging rights when he led his team to their first ever Super Bowl win during game XLVIII against the Denver Broncos, becoming the second Black starting quarterback to sweep a Super Bowl in NFL history.  (Photo: Otto Greule Jr/Getty Images)
