Shakira

Singer   Colombian pop star Shakira has been rocking stages all around the world since the mid-90s.  Gaining much fame from the release of her albums Pics Descalzos (1995) and Donde Estan Los Ladrones? (1998) which made her popular in Latin America and Spain, Shakira first saw worldwide success with her English single "Whenever, Wherever" in 2001.  Laundry Service, her first English language album sold more than 13 million copies, won two Grammy Awards and eight Latin Grammy Awards.  Throughout her career, Shakira has sold more than 70 million albums in total, making her the second most successful female Latin singer behind Gloria Estefan.
