Skyzoo

Rapper Skyzoo is an MC from Crown Heights, Brooklyn, who has been rapping since he was nine.  Born Gregory Skyler Taylor, his parents gave him the nickname “Skyzoo” after the 1980 funk song of the same name. He has worked with producers Jay Dee and 9th Wonder, releasing several mixtapes, including the well-reviewed Corner Store Classic. In addition to appearances on the 106 & Park freestyle contest and building his own entertainment company, Custom Made, Skyzoo’s tracks have been used by ESPN and Guinness. His second studio album will be titled A Dream Deferred (Duck Down Records).
