Rapper She rocked rough and tough with her hit 1994 single "Afro Puffs" after gaining national attention on Dr. Dre's The Chronic and Snoop Dogg's Doggystyle. Born Robin Yvette Allen, Lady of Rage released her debut album, Necessary Roughness, in 1997 on Death Row Records. She also has built a career as an actress and is best known as Coretta Cox on The Steve Harvey Show and Baby D in Ice Cube's Next Friday. In 2008, the ferocious rapstress performed at the BET Hip Hop Awards in a special tribute to female MCs and appeared in the show's 2011 cypher.
