The Rance Allen Group

Rance Allen is a singer, keyboardist and guitarist from Monroe, Michigan. He preached his first sermon at the age of five, and put his hands to the piano just two years later. Allen has been pastor of New Bethel Bountiful Blessings Ministries in Toledo, Ohio since 1985, but he set his ministry to music back in 1969, when he formed The Rance Allen Group with his brothers, Thomas and Steve. With music that marries the spirit of gospel with the swagger of classic soul, they paved the way for other contemporary gospel artists. The Rance Allen Group celebrated 40 years with 2011's The Live Experience II: Celebrating 40 Years of Music and Ministry.
