The SOS Band

The SOS Band exploded onto the scene with their disco-inspired dance track "Take Your Time (Do It Right)" in 1980. The hit-making ensemble went on to collaborate with the production team Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis for a slew of hits, including songs like "The Finest," "Just the Way You Like It," "Tell Me If You Still Care" and "No One's Gonna Love You," most of which have been covered or sampled by other artists over the years. Having accomplished many feats during their music-making years of the '80s and '90s, SOS (Sounds of Success) released eight albums and continue to tour all over the world.
