Three 6 Mafia

Three 6 Mafia are the rowdy Oscar-winning Memphis, Tennessee, hip hop group. At its peak, the group contained six members, including Crunchy Black, Gangsta Boo, Koopsta Knicca, DJ Paul, Juicy J and Lord Infamous. They crafted a dark and menacing sound with their 1995 debut Mystic Stylez. In 2005, they crossed over to the mainstream when they won Best Original Song at the 78th Academy Awards for “It’s Hard Out Here for a Pimp.” After their win, they were featured in an MTV reality show Adventures in Hollyhood. The group has since been reduced to DJ Paul and Juicy J.
