TLC

Musical Group TLC is the four-time Grammy Award–winning female R&B trio, who captured the imagination of fans with their 1992 debut disc, Ooooooohhh…On the TLC Tip. Comprised of Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, TLC’s 1994 follow-up CrazySexyCool built upon their former success and sound, and the breakthrough album has sold more than ten million copies to date. During the recording of Fanmail, they had a public clash, with Left Eye, who was later killed in a car accident in 2002, challenging T-Boz and Chilli to a recording showdown. The group released four multi-platinum albums before Left Eye’s death.
