Wale and his former label Interscope Records parted ways in early 2010, and by December of that year he had signed a new deal with Rick Ross' Maybach Music Group, where he released his second LP, Ambition, in November 2011. His second effort under the label, The Gifted, dropped in June 2013, and Wale is currently prepping to drop The Album About Nothing in late 2014.
