Y'Anna Crawley

Singer Y’anna Crawley moved gospel fans all over with her powerful performances on season two of BET’s Sunday Best. With over a million votes, the soul-stirring singer triumphed as the winner of the gospel-singing contest and subsequently released her debut album Promise in 2010, earning her the New Artist of the Year Award at the 27th Annual Stellar Awards. Coming from a family of singers (she’s the great-niece of Reverend Julius Cheeks and the niece of R&B singer Glenn Jones and gospel artist Genobia Jeter), the D.C. native started her musical career singing backup for Mya, Jennifer Lopez, Raheem DeVaughn, Ledisi, Aretha Franklin and Anita Baker.
