A Year Later, Meek Mill Finally Opens Up About His Beef With Drake

It's about time.

Meek Mill’s beef with Drake has been on again, off again, especially since both artists are now apparently in a bout with Joe Budden.

Recently promoting his forthcoming Dreamchasers 4 mixtape, the Philly rapper sat down with MyMixtapez to discuss his now more-than-a-year-old beef with Drizzy. He says everyone can’t believe what they read or see on the internet because, according to Meek himself, he actually had a pretty good 2015.

"Last year and the position I was in, a lot of people was going with the wave that I was actually losing, but my life was good," he described when talking about his beef with Drake, which began 13 months ago. "The internet is kind of uncontrollable where people go with their own ways," he continued. "It’s a world of cowards where people get behind a computer and type anything."

While his assessment of people who use the internet may be true, Meek Mill seemed to skirt details of why he really wanted to beef with Drake as he was the one who technically kicked things off. He refuted claims that he’s the one losing by pointing out all the riches he has, including cars, jewelry and even his son, who is also apparently a luxurious commodity.

"My son is five years old, just turned five years old the other day. He's speaking French," he said. "If you call that losing, I don't know what you call that. That's like me going on Draymond Green or Steph Curry's comments and putting up an L."

Also during the interview, Meek Mill was asked about Dreamchasers 4 and its timetable for release. He says so many have asked him about the mixtape/album but he refused to reveal a drop date or much else about the project. It’s previously been rumored to drop later this year, but even that isn’t certain.
