After going on a 21-day fast last year, NBA star Carmelo Anthony was recently on another spiritual fast. He revealed his move during an interview with ESPN, explaining he’s doing it for clarity in his life.

"I haven't had a good meal in about two and a half weeks," he admitted. But Anthony didn't elaborate on what he was seeking clarity for. The New York Knick and his wife, LaLa Anthony, were reportedly living separately last week. The couple has been together for two and a half years. Amid their reported living arrangement, Carmelo got into a heated exchange with Boston Celtics player Kevin Garnett, after Garnett commented that LaLa tasted like Honey Nut Cheerios.

The argument, which resulted in a one-game suspension for Anthony, sparked rumors of infidelity. LaLa has since responded to both Garnett’s comments and the rumor, tweeting: “Not for nothing, but we ALL deserve a check or some free cereal 4all the publicity we’ve given Honey Nut Cheerios! LOL #cantbelieveeverything.”
