In his new movie Tyler Perry's Temptation, Tyler Perry's cup runneth over with beautiful women.
The filmmaker found a surprising muse in reality star Kim Kardashian, who he cast in her first major motion picture role. Perry had only praises for Kardashian during our exclusive interview, calling her a "blank canvas" who was "always prepared." While the role doesn't stray far from Kim's reality-based persona, it was a big leap out of her reality show comfort zone.
On the other end of the spectrum, Perry's leading lady Jurnee Smollett-Bell played a character radically different from herself, at least by the film's tragic end, but the director knew she would be up to the task. "I would put her beside the most amazing women I've ever worked with," says Perry about his star. "She's incredible."
