Kandi Burruss is busy prepping and gathering ideas for her pending nuptials with fiancé Todd Tucker and, from the sound of it, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star is leaning more towards fun and less towards lavishly glamorous. The 36-year-old said that she'd like to keep the big day lighthearted despite others' advice to keep things classy.
"I'm not thinking anything big or all over-the-top," Burruss said. "I like to have fun, so I like to have things that are funny and comical…I have a theme that I was thinking about and it was something comical I think will be hilarious, but people keep saying it needs to be all classy and glamorous. I want to have fun and have a good time. I don't care about all that glamour stuff. Who are you doing it for, you know?"
And if you've had a glimpse of Burruss in action, you know she marches to her own beat. She also noted that her bridal party will consist of her close friends and family rather than her RHOA castmates and that she's started looking for inspirations for her wedding dress, but hasn't slipped into any just yet.
"I do go on Pinterest to look at ideas," Burruss said. "I did think of a flowy [wedding] gown and something that cinches me in at the waist. I saw some really pretty ideas, but I haven't tried on anything yet."
