Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Eazy-E Kids May Star in N.W.A. Biopic

Children of Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Eazy-E may star in N.W.A. biopic.

Dr. Dre just lent some truth to the latest rumor about the production of the N.W.A. biopic. According to the rap icon, the film may very well star the children of Dre, Ice Cube and Eazy-E, playing the roles of their famous fathers.
"We're talking about it …we'll see what happens," Dre told TMZ photographers who caught up with him and his wife outside L.A.'s Red O restaurant this past weekend.

There has long been talk of a film based on the rise of the seminal rap group that changed teh face of hip hop in the late 80s and early 90s. Separate talks have been had around the production of a biopic about group founder Eazy E. Rapper Lil Eazy E, the son of the late rap icon, had been named as a potential candidate to play his father in both the solo film and group project.

The latest news of the group film comes shortly after it was revealed that former N.W.A. crew member Ice Cube was gearing up to focus on the return of the Friday series. This time, hopefully with Chris Tucker reprising his role as the loveable troublemaker and fan favorite, Smokey.

A rep for his company Cube Vision confirmed, “absolutely yes, the studio is in the process of getting the entire original cast to do another Friday." The statement continues, "[Ice Cube] is very excited about this and has every intention to make it happen.”
No word yet on whether or not Tucker has agreed to the terms.
