Following her handwritten note to Michelle Obama, Bey praises the music icon.
The relaunch of Beyoncé's official website has opened the door on her notoriously private life. From personal pictures to personal notes, Bey is granting full access to her world to fans for the first time in her career. In a recent post, the Grammy Award-winning star expressed her gratitude to legendary singer Sade.
"For years, I've turned to Sade for inspiration," she wrote. "I cannot even begin to count the nights, days, hard times — when I need her — she is there, to inspire me, and brighten me. Her music has been a true friend, as all true music should be. Thank you Sade. Love Beyoncé."
As previously reported, Beyoncé penned another open letter to Michelle Obama to which the first lady responded on Twitter, saying, "Thank you for the beautiful letter and for being a role model who kids everywhere can look up to."
The handwritten letters, which were posted on Beyoncé's revamped website, can be viewed here.
