Eminem Announces Slaughterhouse Performance at Hot 97 Summer Jam

The Detroit MC also shares plans to release a new solo album.

Eminem spent some time yesterday (May 23) on the phone with New York's Hot 97 host Peter Rosenberg talking about upcoming plans for himself and his group Slaughterhouse. While on the phone, Slim Shady made the big reveal that Slaughterhouse will be joining the line-up for this year's Summer Jam concert.
"Yeah, well, I actually talked to the guys, and they wanna do it so, I mean, I guess we'll just make it official?," said Em. "Slaughterhouse performing Summer Jam, June 3."
The group, comprised of Joel Ortiz, Joe Budden, Crooked I and Royce da 5'9"  was signed to Em's Shady Records last year.
"I really feel like this group, Hip-Hop needs this, man, and I think people are going to see that when this album comes out man," Em told Rosenberg before going into plans of releasing his own project soon.
"Well, right now, I'm actually finishing up everything up on the Slaughterhouse album and kind of getting into my next record a little bit, so that's basically the couple of things that I've been working on," he shared.
Slaughterhouse's next album Welcome to: Our House is due in stores June 12.
