French Montana to 50 Cent: "Let Me Eat"

The Bronx rapper downplays his beef with Fif.

French Montana stopped by the Angie Martinez Show yesterday, and the up-and-coming spitter from the Bronx opened up about his ongoing Twitter feud with Jamaica Queens kingpin 50 Cent.

To hear French tell it, the beef between he and Fif isn't serious and wasn't something he ever planned on.
"Me and him don't got no real problem. It's just...I had said something on a interview he read," Montana said, referring to a Complex magazine interview last year, in which he suggested that 50 was past his prime. "He's probably just looking for anything. He read it, sent a tweet out and I sent a tweet back. Ain't no problem with him. 50 is 50."

Though he acknowledged that swapping insults with Fif has been "entertaining," French said he doesn't want to get bogged down in a contest with his elder.
"I've been doing good. I had a great year. I want to keep going," he said. "That man already did his thing. I feel like it's my turn now. I don't want to go back and forth with him. He already did his thing. Now it's my turn. Let me eat."
