Martin Shkreli to Ghostface Killah: My Goons Will Take You Out
In today’s WTF news Martin Shkreli, pharmaceutical company acquirer turned Wu-Tang $2 million album procurer, fired back at Ghostface Killah for the Clansman’s recent comments questioning his legitimacy as owner of Once Upon A Time In Shaolin. And he did it in the corniest way possible.
Shkreli posted a video through TMZ aimed at Ghost in a similar fashion the Ironman did to Action Bronson last year, and threatened to remove him from the “record books of rap” if he doesn’t get an apology.
"You're not a Ghostface Killah," he said, surrounded by people posing as goons. "Most people don't every try to beef with me… every one of my enemies, they try to stay anonymous… at the end of the day, I feel sorry for you. You're an old man. You're an old man who's trying to reclaim the spotlight from my spotlight. That's not gonna work, Ghost.”
And it continues…
“I expect you to write me a written apology from the heart. Some contrition, some long letter where you explain your sorrow and sadness for what you’ve done… don’t ever f*cking mention my name again, or there will be more of a price to pay than just this video."
RZA sold Wu-Tang Clan’s one-of-a-kind $2 million to Shkreli late last year in a decision he may now regret. It’s Ghostface’s turn to respond. But should he?
