Wu-Tang Clan is a Staten Island, NY-based nine-member rap collective that inspired a cult-like following with their five core albums, several solo discs and material from Wu-Tang-endorsed offshoot groups. Comprised of RZA, GZA, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa, Ol' Dirty Bastard, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah and Method Man, the rappers showcase distinct voices and colorful styles. Before launching a litany of solo careers, their widely popular debut disc, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) introduced their aggressive and scattered technique, embellished with references to kung fu films.
