The NBA defending champion Golden State Warriors are flirting with history. With just six games left in the regular season, MVP Steph Curry and his team has the opportunity to break the record set by Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen's 1996 Chicago Bulls by finishing with a better win-loss record than the Bulls' 72-10.

On Saturday, Pippen spoke to sports writer Seton O'Connor and defended his legacy, saying not only that his Bulls would sweep the 2016 Warriors, he claimed that he would be able to do something that practically nobody in the NBA has been able to do this season: hold Curry to under 20 points.

In the video, Seton asks Pippen who he thinks would win a seven game series. After thinking for a brief moment, Pippen answers confidently, "Bulls in four." He then assured Seton, "I don't think we'd take a night off."
Seton pushes forward, asking about the Bulls defensive scheme. Pippen, who is lauded as one of the best NBA defenders of all time, said he would take the challenge of guarding Curry. "I think that my size and length could bother him a bit." Seton than asks how many points Curry would drop on Pippen, to which he replies, "I think if I can keep him under 20 I think I'm doing good." He added with a smile, "I think I could." 

Unfortunately for fans of the NBA, this game will only ever play out in our imagination. Curry, never one to sell him self short, might have some words for Pippen and the '96 Bulls in return — we'll have to wait and see.
