James Harden Honored With a Custom Court in China
James Harden now has his own court in China.
During the LA Clippers guard's UNO Tour with Adidas in Guangzhou, China, an outdoor basketball court with a larger-than-life mural of Harden was unveiled.
Curated by Designer Yin, the court featured the tour slogan "Under No One" displayed on one sideline, Harden’s signature phrase.
Catching Harden by surprise, the court was revealed in the rain, and as officials removed the tarp that concealed it. After seeing it, Harden could not contain his excitement.
“Thank you, guys. I know it's raining, you guys are here supporting me, I love you so much," Harden said to the cheering crowd.
A few days before the reveal, Harden was spotted signing autographs for the thousands in attendance at the Guangzhou City mall, according to ESPN.
"You guys never cease to amaze me, every time feels like the first time ... I just hope you know the love is reciprocated," Harden wrote in a social media post.
Harden has been traveling on tours of China since 2019. This year, he’s celebrating the latest release of his signature adidas shoes, the “Harden Volume 9.”
In the 2024-25 season, Harden averaged 22.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 8.7 assists, while shooting 41.0% from the field and 35.7% from beyond the arc.
Because of his All-Star year, Harden re-signed with the Clippers on a two-year, $81.5 million deal.
