New Year, New Addition: Jordan Love and Wife Ronika Stone Expecting First Child

Packers QB Jordan Love and professional volleyball star Ronika Stone kicked off 2026 with a major announcement. See the heartwarming photos of their growing family and the latest on Love's road to the playoffs.

To celebrate the start of the new year, Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love and his wife, professional volleyball player Ronika Stone, shared some life-changing news with the world. On Thursday, the couple announced they are expecting their first child together.

The pair took to Instagram to reveal the pregnancy with a joint post captioned, "New year, new addition." The photos featured the couple in matching white T-shirts and denim, holding up sonogram images and a custom Packers onesie sporting Love’s name and his signature No. 10. According to the post, the "Baby Love" is expected to arrive in the spring of 2026.

The pregnancy announcement follows a whirlwind year for the couple, who tied the knot on June 29, 2025, in Dana Point, California. The seaside ceremony at the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, featured a sunset backdrop and was attended by several of Love’s Packers teammates.

The two have been a powerhouse athletic duo since they began dating in 2020. Stone, a former standout at the University of Oregon where she remains the program's all-time leader in hitting percentage, currently plays professionally for the San Diego Mojo.

She also comes from a decorated football family; her father is Ron Stone, a 13-year NFL veteran and two-time Super Bowl champion who played for the Cowboys, Giants, 49ers, and Raiders. Ronika is one of five siblings in a highly athletic household, including sister Ronna, an Oregon track and field athlete, and brother RJ, who played football for Washington State.

According to Yahoo, Love and Stone first met via FaceTime through a mutual friend during Love's rookie season in 2021.

The personal news comes at a pivotal time for Love’s professional career. On the same day as the announcement, Love was officially cleared from the NFL’s concussion protocol after suffering a head injury during a Week 16 game against the Chicago Bears.

Despite being cleared, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur announced that Love will sit out the regular-season finale against the Minnesota Vikings. With Green Bay (9-6-1) already locked into the No. 7 seed in the NFC, the team has opted to start quarterback Clayton Tune to ensure Love is fully rested for the Wild Card round.
