NFL Star And World Champion Olympian Say ‘I Do’

Go behind the scenes of Darius Slayton and Anna Hall’s breathtaking Long Island ceremony.

Darius Slayton and Anna Hall just proved that the "DM to altar" pipeline is very real. The New York Giants wide receiver and the world champion heptathlete tied the knot on April 11, bringing some serious star power to the historic Oheka Castle on Long Island.

According to an exclusive look from Vogue, the  athletic power couple first connected when the receiver spotted the Olympian on his TV screen. Like any modern romance, he headed straight to Instagram to hit follow. While she figured it was just one pro athlete showing love to another, things got real in 2024. While he was in the area for physical therapy, he crashed one of her track meets in New York to introduce himself properly and ask her to dinner.

The rest was history. By November 2025, he took things back to where it all started, proposing to her right on the track at Icahn Stadium.

Despite the bride being in the thick of her competition season, they managed to pull off a dream wedding just five months later. She ditched her signature competition ponytail for a feminine, flowy look, wearing a structured Eden Aharon gown that she said made her feel like herself. The groom kept it sharp and classic in a custom tuxedo from his longtime designer at Alba Legacy.

The ceremony was a soulful affair, featuring a performance by gospel singer Jekalyn Carr. One of the most unique touches of the night was their "love wall" at the reception, where they displayed framed wedding photos of all their married guests to honor the people who supported them along the way.
