Stefon Diggs Gushes Over Cardi B’s Support Following Viral Playoff Celebration

Following a viral video where Cardi B trolled ESPN analysts, New England Patriots receiver Stefon Diggs is opening up about their relationship and her newfound love for the game.

The New England Patriots are one win away from the Super Bowl, and while Drake Maye is leading the charge on the field, the team has found an unlikely spark plug in the stands and on social media. Following a dominant divisional round victory over the Houston Texans, star wide receiver Stefon Diggs took a moment during his Wednesday press conference to gush over the support of his partner, Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B.

The public display of affection comes on the heels of a viral video posted by Cardi B that set the internet ablaze on Sunday night. In the clip, the "Bodak Yellow" artist fiercely defended Diggs and the Patriots after several ESPN analysts unanimously predicted a Texans victory. Yelling into the camera with her signature energy, Cardi B shouted, "What are you talking about? Nothing! Nothing!" She captioned the post with a rallying cry: "THEY DIDN’T BELIEVE IN US !!! I LIKE US!!!!! WE ALL WE GOT!!!!! WE ALL WE NEED !!!!"

When asked about the viral moment and her vocal presence this season, Diggs couldn't help but smile. He admitted that while he usually keeps his personal life under wraps, the support from the Bronx native has been undeniable.

"She’s been an amazing supporter of just me and the Patriots," Diggs told reporters. "She wasn’t a football girl before, but I converted her over. I’m just thankful to have her in my corner."

Diggs noted that their relationship is something they are continuing to build, calling her an "amazing woman." He even joked that he had to "holler at her" about one of her recent posts, likely referring to her boisterous victory lap against the sports media world, but he brushed it off as "all love."

The rapper’s integration into the Patriots' culture has been seamless. She has been spotted at Gillette Stadium several times this season, often seen sitting in the owner’s suite alongside Robert Kraft. The Patriots' owner has also joined in on the praise, recently telling a Boston radio station that Cardi B has become a "real fan" with "high expectations" for the team’s postseason run.

As Diggs prepares to face the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship Game this Sunday, he seems more than happy to have one of the world's biggest superstars leading the cheers. While Diggs remains focused on securing another ring, he made it clear that having a strong foundation off the field is a major part of his current success.

"I don't talk too much about my personal life," Diggs concluded. "But she’s an amazing woman and I just appreciate her. Hopefully, I can build on that and watch that tree grow."
