Tyreek Hill Ends Legal Battle With OnlyFans Model
Tyreek Hill and model Sophie Hall reached a settlement Friday, abruptly ending a civil trial concerning a 2023 incident that left Hall with a fractured leg. The agreement, for an undisclosed amount, was announced in a Broward County courtroom just as the trial was entering its second day of testimony.
The settlement resolves a legal dispute that began after Hall filed a lawsuit seeking at least $50,000 in damages. As part of the resolution, Hall agreed to dismiss her claims of assault and battery, while the negligence claim was settled by both parties. Broward Circuit Judge David Haimes informed the jury of the resolution, concluding a case that was originally expected to last up to two weeks.
The litigation stemmed from a June 2023 meeting at Hill's home in Southwest Ranches, Florida. According to the lawsuit, Hill invited Hall to his estate after the two connected on social media. During their visit, Hall participated in football drills in Hill's backyard.
Hall testified that the incident occurred after she successfully pushed Hill backward during a drill, causing those watching to laugh. She alleged that Hill, appearing embarrassed, charged at her with significant force during a subsequent rep, resulting in a break to her right leg that required surgery and the placement of metal hardware.
Attorneys for Hill, who is currently a free agent after being released by the Dolphins in February, denied the allegations throughout the proceedings. The defense argued that the injury was accidental and suggested that Hall may have tripped over a dog while participating in the drills. They further contended that Hall assumed certain risks by engaging in the physical activity.
Following the settlement, Hill briefly spoke to reporters outside the courtroom. When asked about the resolution and his next steps, he quibbled that he was "going to Disney World." Hall and her legal team declined to provide specific comments on the terms of the deal, though her representation noted that the parties were satisfied with the outcome.
The resolution of the civil matter allows Hill to turn his attention back to his professional career. The veteran wide receiver has spent nine seasons in the NFL with the Kansas City Chiefs and the Miami Dolphins, earning multiple Pro Bowl and All-Pro selections.
