Judge Issues Arrest Warrant For Columbus Short

Scandal actor was no-show in court for domestic violence hearing.

Columbus Short is a wanted man — again. A judge has issued an arrest warrant for the actor after he was a no-show in court for a domestic violence hearing on Wednesday, TMZ reports.
Short's estranged wife, Tanee McCall-Short, called for the hearing to ask for more protection from the former Scandal star, who has allegedly beat her on several occasions and even threatened her life. When Short failed to appear for the hearing, the judge presiding over the case issued a bench warrant calling for his arrest.
The procedure should have been familiar territory for Short, who nearly had a warrant issued for his arrest in a separate criminal case one day prior, on Tuesday. The actor was similarly a no-show in court for that hearing, but quickly appeared when he got wind of the impending warrant. Unfortunately, he wasn't as quick to correct his actions on Wednesday.
Short's list of legal troubles continues to mount as the actor faces a messy divorce and custody battle, domestic violence charges and assault and battery charges stemming from a bar brawl earlier this year.
