Stefon Diggs' One-Word Answer Isn't Cutting It

New court filings show a judge was not satisfied with Diggs' description of his relationship with his accuser and is demanding more specifics.

Stefon Diggs is being required to provide more details about his connection to the man accusing him of sexual assault after a federal judge determined his previous explanation was too vague.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ Sports, the ruling is part of an ongoing civil lawsuit filed by Christopher Blake Griffith, who alleges the NFL wide receiver drugged and sexually assaulted him in 2023. Diggs has denied the allegations.

In earlier responses, Diggs reportedly referred to Griffith as an "acquaintance." The judge, however, ruled that description did not provide enough information and ordered Diggs to further explain the nature of their relationship and how the two became connected.

The decision was one of several discovery-related rulings issued by the court. While the ruling does not address whether Griffith's claims are true, it requires additional information that could help clarify the details surrounding the allegations.

Griffith's lawsuit accuses Diggs of drugging and sexually assaulting him during an encounter in 2023. Diggs has consistently denied any wrongdoing and continues to challenge the allegations in court.

The lawsuit remains pending, and no final judgment has been reached.

The veteran receiver was released by the Patriots in March after a season in which he recorded 85 receptions for 1,013 yards. Diggs, who has played for the Minnesota Vikings, Buffalo Bills, and Houston Texans, currently remains a free agent.
