When you’re half of the most dominant couple in sports, you don't just send a celebratory text; you pull up in the custom fit to prove it. At least that’s what you do when you’re A’ja Wilson, the WNBA’s all-time, single-game points scorer and your other half, Bam Adebayo, just hit number two on the NBA’s list. 

The shirt featured Adebayo alongside Wilt Chamberlain and Kobe Bryant, the only two other names on that elite list of single-game scorers. Just days ago, Adebayo dropped 83 points against the Washington Wizards to pass Bryant’s iconic 81-point game from 2006. Now, the only person left in front of him is Wilt and his legendary 100-point night.

For Adebayo, seeing his face between the "Big Dipper" and the "Black Mamba" is a surreal moment, especially considering how much he’s modeled his game and work ethic after Bryant.  The crazy part is that 83 points isn’t even the only record that puts him in the runner-up spot this week.

In their own house, Adebayo also sits at number two. Wilson still holds the crown for the highest single-game scoring performance in WNBA history after she dropped 53 points against the Atlanta Dream last year.

The two have been having a lot of fun with the competitive energy on social media, but the support is real. While the world is losing it over the box score, Wilson is quick to remind everyone that this didn't happen by accident. She’s been right there for the early morning workouts and the late-night sessions that lead to an 83-point masterpiece.

“To have 83 the first game she's here is very special,” Adebayo said after the game. “The behind-the-scenes, the workouts, and the conversations are very motivating. You see what she does and you get inspired every day by that.”

Between the MVPs, the rings, and now these scoring records, this duo isn't just playing the game—they're owning it.
