Curry, 37, scored a game-high 39 points in the Warriors' 127-120 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. The performance marked his 94th career game with 35 or more points since celebrating his 30th birthday, officially breaking the record of 93 previously held by Jordan.

The scoring outburst came in Curry’s first game back after being sidelined since Dec. 1. Despite the time away from the court, the four-time NBA champion displayed the signature offensive output that has defined the latter half of his career.

Curry shot 14-of-28 from the field, including 6-of-15 from three-point range, and added five rebounds and five assists across 32 minutes.
