Jordan Chiles’ Reaction To Meeting Beyoncé Is Everything You’d Expect

From "Renaissance" inspired leos to a "Cowboy Carter" shoutout, Jordan Chiles has always been Beyoncé's biggest fan. Now, the two have finally met in person.

For years, Jordan Chiles has made it no secret that she is a member of the BeyHive. From her world-class floor routines to her custom leotards, the Olympic gymnast has consistently paid homage to Beyoncé on the biggest stages in sports. Now, the dream has finally become a reality.

The 23-year-old standout shared the moment she met the Grammy-winning icon on social media, posting a photo of the two together after being invited to an event for Beyoncé’s hair care brand, Cécred. "Some may say this is a dream, but this is my reality!!!" Chiles wrote in her caption. "Words can’t describe how it felt meeting Beyoncé—I’m still in awe but happy this little girls dream came true!!!"

The meeting is the culmination of a career-long tribute. During the 2024 Paris Olympics, Chiles competed in the floor exercise finals to a high-energy medley of Beyoncé’s greatest hits. But the fandom goes deeper than just the music. Earlier that year, Chiles sat down with Chioma Nnadi and Chloe Malle on Vogue’s podcast, "The Run-Through," to discuss the deep significance of her Beyoncé-inspired leotards.

During the 2024 U.S. gymnastics championships, Chiles debuted two custom leotards that mirrored the aesthetic of the "Renaissance World Tour." She told the hosts that after attending the Houston show, she spent hours scrolling through the singer's Instagram to find the perfect outfits to translate into gymnastics gear. Working with GK Elite, Chiles was able to bring her vision to life, noting that she "melted" and "started crying" when she finally saw the demos.

"This is me. This is who I am. That's where I got the motto. I'm that girl," Chiles said during the podcast, referencing the track "I'm That Girl."

While Chiles wasn't sure at the time if the singer had seen the leotards, the two had already shared a special moment before the Olympics. Beyoncé sent the gymnast a framed copy of her Cowboy Carter album art with a personalized note written in silver marker. The message from the singer read, "Congrats to you Queen. Always watch you with pride and admiration. Thank you for reppin’ us." Beyoncé even signed the note, "Love, your twin Beyoncé."
