Paramount Wins UFC Rights in Seven-Year, Multi-Billion Dollar Agreement

Paramount+ becomes the exclusive home of all UFC events in the U.S. beginning in 2026, ending pay-per-views for the MMA brand.

Paramount+ will be the new home of the UFC beginning in 2026.

According to a press release from Paramount, in a landmark deal with the TKO Group, the UFC will end its current Pay-Per-View model by making its premium events available at no additional cost to subscribers in the U.S on Paramount+. Additionally, Paramount will explore UFC rights across the globe as they become available. Reportedly, the deal is for 7 years and is worth $7.7 billion.

David Ellison, Chairman and CEO of Paramount, released a statement about the historic partnership.

"I couldn't be more excited to join forces with Dana, Ari, and Mark. Rarely do opportunities arise to partner on an exclusive basis with a global sports powerhouse like UFC – an organization with extraordinary global recognition, scale, and cultural impact," Ellison said.

"Paramount's advantage lies in the expansive reach of our linear and streaming platforms. Live sports continue to be a cornerstone of our broader strategy — driving engagement, subscriber growth, and long-term loyalty, and the addition of UFC's year-round must-watch events to our platforms is a major win,” Ellison continued. “We look forward to delivering this premium content to millions of fans in the U.S., and potentially beyond."

“This historic deal with Paramount and CBS is incredible for UFC fans and our athletes,”  UFC CEO and President Dana White added. “For the first time ever, fans in the US will have access to all UFC content without a Pay-Per-View model, making it more affordable and accessible to view the greatest fights on a massive platform."

“This deal puts UFC among the biggest sports in the world. The exposure provided by the Paramount and CBS networks under this new structure is a huge win for our athletes and anyone who watches and loves this sport,” White continued.

As the premier mixed martial arts (MMA) organization in the world, the UFC holds approximately 43 live events annually with more than 100 million fans who tune in to its linear, digital, and social platforms. The brand has a roster of “approximately 600 of the world's best male and female MMA athletes representing 75 countries.”
