Terrell Owens Says He's Ready to Return to Football Soon

The six-time Pro Bowl receiver is coming off torn anterior cruciate ligament surgery and is looking for a team to play for this season.

Terrell Owens is ready to play some football again.

The question is for whom?

The often controversial receiver told ESPN on Wednesday that he will be ready to return to the NFL in “a month or less, I give you that.” Owens, who played with the Cincinnati Bengals last season, is coming off surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in April.

Now the question is which of the 32 NFL teams is going to want to take a chance on the 37-year-old wideout who has been to six Pro Bowls? Owens believes he will have some takers from teams needing that final piece for a playoff run.

Owens had played for San Francisco, Dallas, Philadelphia and Cincinnati during his career.

“They gonna get the T.O. that they expect. Don't expect anything less,” Owens told Smith. “I'm not gonna waste your time, so I wouldn't expect you to waste my time. When I step on the field, you know what you gonna get."
