Stuck with his irresponsible stepfather and stepbrothers, Charlie Prince (Max Schneider) has one good thing going for him: the ability to sing. Unfortunately, it is a talent that few know about and without a producer, the chances of him becoming a superstar are slim. However, Charlie does have a fairy Godfather watching over him, Shawn (Drake Bell), who wants to see that his fate changes.

One day, while working at his stepfather's karaoke business (which doubles as a recording studio), Charlie's abilities are secretly recorded by Shawn, which ends up serving as a demo. However, before it can end up in the hands of Kadee (Keke Palmer), the daughter of a music mogul, Charlie must overcome his jealous stepbrothers. 

Also featuring Burkely Duffield and Isaiah Mustafa, with a soundtrack produced by Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, Rags puts an emphatic musical twist on the age-old Cinderella story. Tune in on Saturday, August 18 at 6P/5C for the premiere of Rags!
