Gucci Mane Focused on Music After Release From Jail

The ATL rappers talks recording and face tattoo in first post-jail interview.

Gucci Mane is out of jail and, for now at least, he's pouring all of his attention into one thing: music. In a post-jail interview with KarmaloopTV, Gooch said that the first thing he did after regaining his freedom was head back to the lab.
"First thing I did, I just got my feet planted on the ground, went back to the studio, banged out about five records," he said. "I got some great writing done, I got some new hits that people need to wait on.”
As a welcome home gift to himself, Gucci said he wanted to buy his own recording studio in Atlanta.
When he was asked about another development that has kept him in the headlines--the sizable tattoo of an ice cream cone that he got on the right side of his face--the ATL rapper said he didn't consider it to be a big deal.
"It was just something I did, it was spontaneous," Gucci revealed. "It was just a common day. I ain't put too much planning into it at all," he said.

The troublesome rap star plans to release a collaboration album later this year with labelmate Waka Flocka Flame, under the Ferrari Boyz moniker.
