Prince Prepping 'Naked' Piano Tour
Prince is ready to get “naked” and “pure” on stage, but it’s not what you think. His Royal Badness announced a solo piano tour across the U.K. and Europe beginning later this month.
According to Fader, the 57-year-old icon shared tour news with reporters in France over the weekend. “Why do this now? For several reasons. For starters it is a challenge,” Prince explained. “I rarely get bad reviews because this is something that’s been perfected for over 30 years… but you have to try new things. With the piano it is more naked, more pure.”
The month-long Piano & a Microphone Tour will stop off in 16 countries and 11 cities starting with Vienna on Nov. 21. Other shows include Holland, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, France, Denmark and Spain.
Prince, whose HITNRUN album dropped last month, will reportedly switch up his set every night and he's already predicting an unforgettable tour.
