Reports Say Floyd Mayweather Gave Chris Brown’s Baby Mama A $20K Gift To Help Her Start A Business

The boxer and Nia Guzman have been friends for over 10 years.

Whether he likes it or not, Floyd Mayweather was just embroiled in a child support battle between Chris Brown and Nia Guzman.

Right now, Guzman and Brown are disagreeing about how much money the mother should be provided. Brown is reportedly worried that providing too much would result in their couple’s 4-year-old daughter, Royalty, becoming spoiled.

In a deposition by Brown’s legal team, Guzman revealed she received $20,000 from a “silent friend” to help start RoyaltyBrown.com, an online clothing store inspired by the couple’s child. According to Guzman, she only makes around $400 per month from the site, reported The Blast.

After some pressure from Brown’s team, Guzman eventually revealed the investor was Mayweather, and the two have “been friends for 10+ years.”

Guzman said she also knows Floyd’s child’s mother, and they “all go back many years.”

She said the boxer “heard about the idea of me wanting to start the company, and he said that he would help with it at no cost.”

When asked how Mayweather found out, Guzman said, “I told him.”

Floyd Mayweather has seemingly been at odds with Chris Brown ever since a celebrity boxing match between Brown and Soulja Boy. Mayweather, who promoted the fight under his boxing company, trained and publicly supported Soulja Boy.
