Read The Shocking And Racist Texts This Nanny Received Before She Was Fired By A White Couple

Giselle Maurice is suing the couple for loss of wages and discrimination.

A British couple living in New York are under fire for “accidentally” sending racist text messages to their newly-hired nanny, who is African American.

Lynsey Plasco-Flaxman thought she was sending the texts to her husband but they ended up being sent to Giselle Maurice, the nanny. “NOOOOOOOOOOO ANOTHER BLACK PERSON,” the text allegedly read, according to the lawsuit.

Maurice was later fired from her job, and now, is suing Plasco-Flaxman for lost wages and discrimination. The lawsuit claims Plasco-Flaxman sent the text a second time when she never received a reply, once again thinking she was texting her husband.

After realizing she made the mistake, she fired Maurice because she felt “uncomfortable.” Being the genius she isn’t, Plasco-Flaxman tried to justify her actions by saying that their outgoing nanny was black and had done a horrible job. The family were expecting a Filipino, according to the lawsuit.

SMH.

Giselle Maurice is seeking $63,000 in wages she was promised – $350-a-day for a six-month live-in gig. “I want to show them, look, you don't do stuff like that,” Maurice told the New York Post. “I know it's discrimination.”

Good for her! We’re still trying to figure out if the couple is more racist or stupid.
