Every Trophy Drake Took Home at the 2017 Billboard Awards

Back to back (to back to back)!

OVO king and Young Money prince Drake is having one hell of a year.

After patching things up at his Young Money stomping grounds, clinching a host spot on the first-ever NBA Awards, unleashing yet another exalted studio project and burying hatchets left and right, he’s stamping another mark in history as a record-breaker at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards.

As if the rap megastar didn’t already set the bar at sky-high levels with 22 nominations, the most any artist received for the year, Drizzy broke Adele’s record of 12 trophies after taking home 13 of his own on Sunday (May 21). Ironically enough, he had the hot and cold critical reception of his fourth album Views to thank for it all. Championing in supreme artist, genre, streaming and even touring categories, Toronto’s iconic music VIP has earned 13 new shiny reasons to celebrate more life.

  1. Drake kicked his victorious evening off from a beautiful distance at the Bellagio Fountains

Following up Nicki Minaj's showstopping "No Frauds" stage opener, Drizzy followed up with his "Gyalchester" performance at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. The OVO head was enclosed by spirited orange and yellow flames during the fiery presentation as longtime friend and collaborator Baka turned up even more of the heat with his hype man assist.

  2. A trophy of its own, Drizzy even received a salute from Ms. Minaj herself from the audience

The rest of the evening became Drizzy's for the OVO taking with the following categories:

  3. Top Artist

  4. Top Male Artist

  5. Top Billboard 200 Artist

  6. Top Hot 100 Artist

  7. Top Song Sales Artist

  8. Top Streaming Songs Artist

  9. Top Rap Artist

  11. Top Billboard 200 Album

  12. Top Rap Album
